Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 August 2026

1About These Terms

These terms of use explain the rules for using the Certshor website at certshor.com. By using the website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

The website is operated by ROCKSHOR HOLDINGS LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12565757, whose registered office is at 5 Gunnell Close, Kettering, Northamptonshire, England, NN15 7DJ.

These terms cover the website only. If you subscribe to the Certshor software, that is a separate agreement with its own terms, and those terms govern your use of the software and anything you put into it.

2Using This Website

You may use this website for your own lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use it in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server it is hosted on, or any connected system.
  • Introduce anything malicious, or attempt to disrupt or overload the website.
  • Copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the website without our permission.

3The Information On This Website

This website describes what the Certshor software does. It refers to fire safety legislation and standards, including PAS 79 and BS 9991, in order to explain the product.

None of it is professional, legal or regulatory advice, and it is not a substitute for the judgement of a competent fire risk assessor. Certshor produces a first pass that a qualified person reviews, edits and signs off. Responsibility for any assessment, and for compliance with fire safety law, rests with the person carrying it out and with the responsible person for the premises.

We take care to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error free. Product features, prices and plans described here may change.

4Intellectual Property

We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in this website and in the material published on it, including its text, design, images and the Certshor name and logo.

You may view the website and print or download extracts for your own reference. You must not use any part of it for commercial purposes, or alter it, without our written permission.

6Availability

We do not guarantee that this website will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for business or operational reasons, and we will try to give reasonable notice where we can.

7Our Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations that may apply to this website, and we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of anticipated savings arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from your reliance on anything published on it.

This section does not affect any rights you have under a separate agreement for the Certshor software.

8Changes To These Terms

We may amend these terms at any time by updating this page. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Please check it from time to time, because the version in force is the one published here when you use the website.

9Governing Law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
